Bosley's Angels Maine Coons

Meet Bosley.  He is the head of the household here at our cattery in Spencer, TN, if you can call it a cattery.  All of our cats are raised literally underfoot.  We, Ginny and Wendy, began raising Maine Coon cats in June 2007.  I, Wendy, had adopted a Maine Coon from my local shelter, that was taken from me after 8 years of loving him.  I fell head over heels in love with the breed so when I decided to look for a "replacement" we went a little overboard.  We now have 8 registered, breeding queens and 5 registered, breeding studs.  We are small breeders but we can guarantee our kittens are hand raised and socialized, smothered to be exact, if this is possible.  We have a home based business, so to speak, so we are here 95% of the time to love and play with our animals.  This is truly our passion.

The Maine Coon is the native American longhaired cat and was recognized as a specific breed in Maine where they were held in high regard for their mousing talents. Through nature’s own breeding program, this breed has developed into a sturdy cat ideally suited to the harsh winters and varied seasons of the region. The Maine Coon is well known for its loving nature, kindly disposition and great intelligence. Maines are especially good with children and dogs and have always been a popular and sought after companion.

Our "home based business" is a miniature horse farm.  By that I mean miniature horses, not miniature farm.  At present, we have 28 horses ranging in size from 27 inches to 38 inches.  We actually have quite a collection of critters, including but not limited to....

• 5 dogs
• 2 ferrets
• 3 potbellied pigs
• 2 llamas
• 3 goats
• 3 horses, Quarter horses
• 9 chickens
• 12 barn cats, none are Maine Coons, all rescues
• 1 miniature spotted donkey
• 1 raccoon (legal)

Once again, loving and caring for  our animals is truly our passion.
